Seoul to Busan Day trip by KTX
We used the Korail Pass to travel from Seoul to Busan for my day trip. Busan taxi fare is reasonable and it was easy to 'wave' for one. Thus, we travelled from one place to another by taxi to save time.7:30 am Seoul -- 🚄 -> Busan --> 🚊🚖 --> Gamcheon Cultural Village -- 🚖 --> Songdo Beach -- 🚖 --> Jagalchi Market -- 🚖 --> Chinatown -- 🚶--> Busan Station -- 🚄 --> Seoul 7:40 pm 😊

Busan Food
Brunch : Busan Station. Somehow, mistaken this shop as Samjin Fishcake Bakery(walked past it) as we were expecting a cafe and not a bakery that sells fishcake. After eating and passing by Samjin Fishcake again:
I : "Did we eat at the wrong place?"
TM : "Yes, we did".
Snack : Gamcheon Cultural Village : Ssiat Hotteok. Nice and fattening.
Lunch : Jagachi Market Mussels (in water not white wine), abalone porridge and stirred-fried eel. All so-so.
Teabreak: Choryang Milmyeon. Milmyeon and Mandu - Yummy.
Busan Transport
Back to Seoul and Solo-Time
A perfectly-time and relaxing day trip. Key Success Factor: taking taxi to the various locations, instead of buses / walk.We bought our KOrail Pass in Seoul. The KTX trains are crowded. If you prefer to sit in the same direction as the train moves, show the text to the ticketing staff. There are many scheduled trains between Seoul and Busan. They can be crowded and thus it is advisable to reserve in advance.
TM and I parted way, she on her solo trip, I to explore Seoul again.
Thanks for the Busan Trip!
