A walk and climb up Bukit Timah Hill

13 Oct 20
We arrived at Dairy Farm carpark around 8:30am. The sky was slightly cloudy, which made for ideal weather for a climb 😊.
For the most part, the climb was paved with steps, and sloped upwards gradually with both sides flanked   by the forest.
It was enjoyable to walk and simply admire the wildlife around us.
Although it was mainly a shaded path and I climbed slowly, I was panting and sweating by the time I reached the summit.

We rested for a short while there, before beginning our walk back down. Though tiring, our walk was enlivened with chats about past travels and possible future travel plans...💭😊
We soon reached the opening clearing at the end of the trail from the summit. The path on the right joined the Macritchie Trail, while the left  path led back to the starting point.
The service centre was closed, so we did without a stop and continued our walk on the Wallace Trail.
By ~10+am, we were back in the carpark, and proceeded to Bukit Timah Hawker Centre to refresh ourselves with drinks and snacks.

Thank you LK, CCY for an excellent morning outing, and I look forward to our next walk in  Macritchie.
