Arrival at Chamonix, a charming pretty town famed for its highest mountain in Europe - Mont Blanc.
After leaving the luggage in the hotel, we headed to the tourist office to enquire about taking the cable car to view Mont Blanc. There is a video camera providing views from Aiguille Du Midi. From the video, Mont Blanc was visible.
We quickly walked to Aiguille Du Midi for the cable car.
The observatory is at the height of 3842m
Stopped at the midway station for a short walk
Back to the town
Walk around the town, and enjoyed the view from the hotel.
