Day1
Arrival at Luang Prabang Train Station.
There and then, we remembered that we had forgotten to inform the hotel to pick us up from the train station! <<Whew>>  there is a bus service that drop customers off at specific destination, and the hotel was one of the drop-off point.
<<The road to the hotel is bad with pot-holes, reminded me of Madagascar>>
We checked into the hotel. The hotel provides free transport to the town centre. We 'seeked' out a money changer to change more kips.

We walked along the swollen river and could see houses half-submerged by the river.

Night Market
Highlight - ** Khaiphaen. **
It has very good review from google search, and also from the review, I realised that it is a social enterprise. And thus, it was marked in the google map for lunch.

Day 2
The sky was overcast.
It rained heavily. We returned to the hotel for breakfast, and cancelled the morning transport to the KuangSi Waterfalls. After breakfast, we took the hotel's transport to BigMouseBrother.
KuangSi Waterfalls
It was good that the weather has cleared.

** Big Brother Mouse **
<< We realised that it is rainy season in Laos, and thus browse from things to do for rainy day>>

Day 3
We walked to the alm giving area instead of taking the hotel's transport.

Day 4 (Day 7 of the trip)
We made our way to the railway station to do the last leg of the rail trip from Luang Prabang into Kunming, China.
Thoughts
Laos is still relatively not as touristy as the nearby countries. I enjoyed my short stay in Luang Prabang. I'll like to visit the city again to - volunteer teaching English, enjoy the good food and massage and simply to relax in the hotel.
Rainy Season - When we planned our trip, we did not give much consideration to the weather/rainy season until reports about flooding and severe weather near to our departure date.
