I first heard of Ushuaia when we met a Japanese traveller whom we travelled for a few days at the Los Glaciares National Park in Pantagonia in 1992. At the end of our travel at the National Park, he was heading for Ushuaia while we were going to the Iguazu Fall.
He suggested that we should also travel to Usuhuaia, the southern most city in the world. However, our tickets were booked, and back then it was difficult and expensive to buy/change or cancel the air-tickets.
At last, I set foot on Ushuaia, on my way to the Antarctica Cruise!
