Singapore Walk and Local food : Chinatown, Civic District, City Hall

An afternoon walk from Chinatown, towards City Hall passing by Hong Lim, Singapore river, Boat Quay, Raffles Place and then to Funan Mall before ending at CityHall MRT. 😊

Chinatown MRT 

Walking by Trengganu Street, other than souvenir shops, there is a shop selling durian, the king of the fruits that is in season now!

Chinatown Food Centre

The Year of the Pig Displays at the roof of the stalls

Chwee Kueh and Chicken Rice for lunch, and then to Old Amoy Chendol for Chendol dessert (shaved ice, red bean, green rice flour jelly, coconut milk and palm sugar syrup).

Shopping at Daiso, and coffee break of iced coffee/milo with kaya toast at Toastbox and another local snack - DuDu Kueh.

HongLim Complex
Food centre and shops on the ground floor of HDB(Housing Development Board) flat.

Walk from HongLim to Boat Quay, Singapore River
Singapore river with the destination in sight (Raffles City/Swissotel).

Walked to the revamped Funan Mall and the urban farm on its rooftop.

Capital Piazza and City Hall MRT
Minced Meat Mee Pok for early dinner before calling ending the walk in Raffles City.
