Shanghai(II) : A walk from JinganTemple静安寺 to the Bund 外滩

Lujiazui - People’s Square – Nanjing East Walking Street – Bund - Lujiazui （About 2 hours)

I took Metro Line2 from Lujiazui 陆家嘴 to Jingan Temple 静安寺 station. Nanjing Road West 南京西路 starts from Jingan Temple and continue till People's Square 人民广场. One end of the Nanjing East Pedestrian Street南京步行街 starts from the People’s Square.

The street is still busy as usual. Has the online shopping affected the business?

There is always groups of tourists taking photos of the Peace Hotel.

Pudong skyscrapers become visible as one approaches the Bund 外滩。

Pudong's skyscrapers are as impressive from across the bund, and from Pudong side as well.

The bund is crowded with tourist, and with the China Party Congress scheduled for next week, many China flags are placed on the buildings.

I was surprised to see a smilier Wall Street Bull on the bund. On closer inspection, it was designed by the same sculptor of the Wall Street Bull.




There is a ferry terminal to cross the HuangPu River to Lujiazui, Pudong. It costs 2rmb.
