Shanghai (I) : Pudong Lujiazui sightseeing 浦东 陆家嘴

Shanghai Lujiazui Walk

Shanghai is well-known as the global commercial and financial centre for China. The population is about 25 millions but there are probably more than 25 millions inhabitants as  Shanghai is similar to a magnet attracting not only the Chinese from other provinces but also foreigners as well.
Where can one go if they have a few days in Shanghai? I decided to "re-explore" the few tourist sites that I used to go with my friends/by myself.

Pudong BingJiang (滨江大道)- Lujiazui  陆家嘴

BingJiang (entrance from ShangCheng Road) - Brand Supermall - Lujiazui (1-2hrs, excluding shopping)
Other than the famous Bund 外滩 in Puxi 浦西, the Broad-walk facing the Bund on Pudong is a long scenic popular walkway for residents and a lesser extent by tourists.  The walk-way has been upgraded and extended.

Many residents use the walkway for exercises, walking and jogging. Walking from here towards to Pearl's Tower takes about 20-30minutes.
Yacht Club along the walkway (Jan 17)
Passing by rows of yacht by the river.
The ferry terminal is beyond the yacht club. There is an iron gate that marks the end of this stretch of walkway. Go though the iron gate and continue walking towards the high-rise buildings (Pearl Tower, etc). There is a path that leads onto the BingJiang walkway again.
View of the Bund (Oct17)
The walkway provides a panoramic view of the Bund in Puxi. It is especially impressive  when huge cargo ship sails on the river.
There are many cafes and restaurants fronting the bund. Starbucks is one of them.
A bridge links the walkway to Brand Super Mall. Brand Super Mall is a huge shopping centre with brands such as Uniqlo, H&M, Muji, C&A, etc. There are also many restaurants and cafes as well. Walk through the mall and there is another entrance that is connected to the Lujiazui pedestrian bridge.

The Icon Buildings and Architecture

The bridge/walkway links the major buildings such as Brand, International Financial Centre(IFC), Hyatt and Shanghai World Financial Centre(SWFC), etc. It has become a  popular tourist spot for taking photographs of the many iconic buildings.

Currently, the linkway has extended beyond SWFC.

The Pudong walkway is also charming and worth walking to enjoy the sights.
