Bangkok : A short trip 2017

Bangkok! Long time no see
It has been more than 10 years since I last visited Bangkok. Originally planned as a 4D3N Bangkok short trip but need to change to an even shorter trip of 3D2N. Staying in Siam-Square area was a good choice as almost all the shopping centers in this location are linked by inter-connecting covered-walkway.

Prices seem to have risen quite significantly as compared to 5-6 years ago. However, bargains are still available for good quality haircut (750B), nails (550B), foot (300B) and Thai/Oil(500B) massages. Food in food-court are good and there are many more international cafes/restaurants now.

Mandarin Oriental Author's Lounge High Tea
I have been to Bangkok for many times but have never had the opportunity to dine by the famed Choa Phraya River. We reserved an afternoon tea in Mandarin Oriental hotel famous Author's Lounge. The hotel provides a free ferry service to transport the guests to the hotel.
We ordered both the Oriental and Western Selection.
Different types of sugar for the coffee
Eastern and Western Tea
My preference is the Oriental Selection.
Artbox and Chatuchak Market
After the tea, we visited the Artbox and then made our way to the Chatuchak Night Market.
Artbox - Good
The Chatuchak Night Market is more interesting with more varieties of goods.
Chatuchak Night Market - Better
It was a good trip and can be a regular outing if prices remain attractive.
Note:
